Fascinations IV

Tying in with my interest in family history research is a fascination with Victorian London.  Currently reading London Dust by Lee Jackson which begins with overtones (undertones?) of Dickens' Our Mutual Friend.

Fascinations III

Cake!  I love to eat it and I enjoy baking it.  Not a cupcake but a generous slice from a luscious full-sized creation.  Pictured - the Marie Antoinette from Murchies of Canada.  Robed in pink marzipan, it's a light sponge filled with cream cheese icing and raspberry puree - sounds sickly but the execution is perfection.  Sex and confectionery being a marriage made in heaven, I recently sold a little piece to For The Girls called The Flavour of Lust.
